Question I get an error during boot after installation - how can I troubleshoot this? IRQ!

I get the following error.

intel_soc_dts_thermal: request_threaded_irq ret -22
intel_soc_dts_thermal: request_threaded_irq ret -22

The error comes up twice one after another.

My goal is to be very thourough with this, so I am searching the internet, but I have not been able to find relevant information on this. I want to make sure I fully understand what this is.

Can you guys help me troubleshoot this please?

I'm new to modules, so perhaps someone can answer these additional questions.

I created a file called blacklist.conf in /etc/modprobe.d

and added

blacklist thermal

After rebooting, I checked dmesg and found that one of the mentioned intel_soc_dts_thermal: request_threaded_irq re -22 lines disappeared

however, the other one is there.

Since I know very little about loading and unloading modules, I realized, it obviously did not blacklist correctly. I also read that if another module depends on it, it might still try to load it.

How can I correctly trace and troubleshoot this. As far as I know, thermal is not critical, so I would like to correctly unload or blacklist the module.

What do I need to do?
