cannot install arch on second partition

Hi,

I'm trying to install Arch on my second partition but during the installation cfdisk keeps saying " Bad primary partition 1: Partion ends in the final partial cylinder". I don't want to remove my Debian 6 on that 1st partition.

Any other method of installing Arch for this situation?

If you already have a partition you do not need cfdisk. Proceed to configure block devices from main menu. There you will specify where to mount the partition and format it to ext4, or whatever you chose.

If you truly wish to modify the partitions do <alt><F2>, enter root, and use fdisk /dev/sdx, then <alt><F1>back to the menu.
