Video Player?

I am just wondering if there is an application I can download and install that can play video. I went to slackware.org and searched but it appears everything they have is for i486 architecture, and I thought mine was i386 (not that i know very much what i'm talking about). Can somebody help me? Thanks.

i386 = intel standard compatible with 386 machines, dating from 1988. i486 is just a slightly more optimized build, which will only run on 486's (1992) and later...

so any linux video player will work fine, 486 or 386, or 586 or 686... they're all the same. try mplayer, xine, totem..
