Default shell in AIX

Hi,

1. How to change the default shell to bash (permanent) without using chsh and /etc/passwd?
2. How to change the bash prompt string to 'MyPrompt #' permanently?
3. What files do I need to edit?

Thanks
Abhishek

1. why can't you use chsh or /etc/passwd? You're going to have to make the change in /etc/passwd one way or another.
2. http://www.google.com/search?client=...utf-8&oe=utf-8
3. /etc/profile
