Can connect to server but not port

I installed wsas(websphere application server). I can connect to the wsas http server. However, I cannot connect to any ports even though I configured them during the installation. What could be the problem?

Thanks, I figured it out. Verify the ports in virtualhosts.xml, and take a look at the /etc/services file to make sure the port is assigned properly.
