I use mainly Terminator, but also Konsole and GNOME Terminal (since I run KDE and GNOME).

Voted for Terminator though, since I use it in both desktop Environments and hence most of the time. Also never had any issues with that one.

I find it unfortunate that I didn't really have a chance to try the new GTK3 Terminator yet.

It was a tough choice between Terminator and St. I ended up voting for St.

Voted Roxterm.

I'll use just about any, but voted for xterm.

my main terminal emulator is my own one but i voted for xterm ( as kkterminal is not there ), its always handy to have xterm as a fall back

I just use whichever happens to be installed... since I use xfce on everything, that is xfce-terminal. I've used the others and they all seem to work about equally to me

i voted urxvt.
it's usually the first thing i change on some distro install.
i'm not convinced it's "the best", but wanted to add some counterweight to all those GUI heavyweights (i guess gnome-terminal or konsole will win... again).

ok, i was going to start a huge rant about how this terminal emulator eats my resources doing NOTHING AT ALL, but i'm quite surprised how lightweight it is! with default settings and lots of dynamic effects (meaning, a simple screenshot doesn't do it justice, you need to see a video) it barely registers on my cpu meter. compare this to e.g. !!!

it also uses qt5 and pulled in just a few megs of dependencies.

and it looks really cool.

and the effects can be customized and reduced to an almost sane level.
it's a nice toy, almost useful

Terminology wins for being a thoroughly cool emulator. If I couldn't use that, I'd probably go with Yakuake, but most of those listed will do the job. (BTW Terminology 1.0 will be available very soon!)
