Installed FreeBSD, now Windows XP HOME not loading..

Hi,

I have scanned the FreeBSD website and Googled to the best of my abilities, but I am still unable to resolve this problem...

I installed FreeBSD 6.1 on my laptop which already had Windows XP Home and contained the following configuration on my 28 Gig HD:

Primary '1': 10 GIG Windows XP Home sp2 (NTFS)
empty space: 5 GIG
Primary '3': 13 GIG Backup Drive (NTFS)

The problem:

After installing FreeBSD on the 5 Gigs of free space, I can no longer load Windows (no splash screen, just a blinking underscore in the top left-hand corner...). I am happy to say that FreeBSD works brilliantly (works with all my hardware; I am even using it to write this message), but I still need Windows...

I checked the drives with Ranish Partition Manager (they're all still intact and Windows is still the active partition) and ran both "Fixmbr" and "Fixboot" from the Windows XP CD but nothing helped.

Any suggestions?
Tym

I would suggest installing grub from ports and letting grub chainload freebsd's boot loader.
my grub menu.lst

default 0
timeout 60
#splashimage=(hd1,0)/grub/pic.xmp.gz
color light-gray/blue blue/light-gray

title=freeBSD
root (hd1,0)
chainloader +1

title=gentoo linux
root (hd1,4)
kernel /kernel-2.6.17 root=/dev/hdb11 splash=verbose,fadein,theme:emergence console=tty1 fbcon=scrollback:128K acpi=ht
initrd /fbsplash-emergence-1024x768

title=fedora core linux
root (hd1,11)
chainloader +1

title windows xp
root (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
