windows is not booting with freebsd installed

windows was installed before, so i installed freebsd on top

and when i select f1 nothing happens, f2 freebsd boots fine

df shows me this, ive addmited the other details as there not really relevent

Quote:
Filesystem mounted on
/dev/ad0s2a /
devfa /dev
/dev/ad0s2e /tmp
/dev/ad0sff /usr
/dev/ad0s2d /var
should there not be a dos/nfts partition shown?

how can i correct this so both o's boot

well df tells (at least used to, yesterday) the free disk space on mounted filesystems, and probably if you haven't manually chosen to do so, your windows partition does not get mounted automatically so df won't show any info about it. to get windows boot too you'll need to add an entry for it to your bootloader configuration (which at the moment probably only has your bsd boot configuration).

I fixed the problem, i booted using the freebsd cdrom and went into post install - selected fdsik and then selected A next to the nfts partition and rebooted
now i have to work out the ports system
