using an usb photo camera with FreeBSD 5.2

I have a photo camera and I wonder can I use it with FreeBSD.
I have no problems using it with linux - just mounting it like a scsi disk.
Is it the same with FreeBSD and which device in /dev is a SCSI hard disk.
I don't have any scsi-es in my computer, should I expect to have such device in /dev directory? The camera is connected to the computer with an USB wire. May be I have to mount it like an usb device?
I'll be grateful if you can help me. thanks
