TCP/IP over lp0

Hi!

I would like to know how I set up a connection thru the lp0 (lpt0) ??

I checked the FBSD handbook.

Quote:
Get a laplink cable.
Confirm that both computers have a kernel with lpt driver support.
Code:
# dmesg | grep lp
lpt0 at 0x378-0x37f irq 7 on isa
lpt0: Interrupt-driven
lp0: TCP/IP capable interface
..but my output didnīt show any lp0 just lpt0

My question is then: How do I create this???? (lp0)

did you recompile your kernel with the support for IP over parallel line ? Because I'm not sure the Generic kernel includes it.
