is there an emulator better than vmware that can run on BSD?

i have had some problems with installing vmware on freebsd. it keeps telling me that it can't load the display driver or something like that. is there any other emulators that can run linux, mac, windows or BSD? i've seen some mac emulators, but i haven't seen any linux or windows emulators for freebsd, every time i use windows, i just end up getting spyware or viruses. that's why i want to run it as a virtual machine.

Wine is ported to FreeBSD, as is CrossOffice, I believe.

vmware

well, i have heard a lot about wine and the other emulator that crosses windows programs to linux and freeBSD, but you need to pay for crossover, don't you? i have been reading a linux user magazine and there is a new emulator out which is a lot like vmware but it doesn't have a graphical interface, it might have a grapghical interface but its not as good as vmware's interface. i have tried wine for linux and i had hundreds of problems with it, i know that vmware doesn't support Freebsd being able to run vmware. but is there any good emulators in the ported application part of freebsd?

Wine Is Not an Emulator. WINE is a Windows API interface for non window's OSes. What you need is a full system emulator such as qemu or Vmware. Neither of which I believe works with bsd yet
