gregorian Member Registered: Apr 2006 Posts: 509 Rep:	How do I disable beeps in all parts of FreeBSD? So far I've done hw.syscons.bell=0 in /etc/sysctl.conf xset b 0 in .xinitrc It still doesn't work with slock (screensaver) or in the console mode.
