ok.. i installed BSD on a computer. and i set the nic card with a static IP, now i have no clue how to get into the setup utility to change the Configuation to DHCP so that the linksys router can assign me and IP and i can have internet.. PLEASE HELP MEEEE
I don't know much about DHCP and where to configure it.
Just an idea: maybe with /stand/sysinstall?
An other idea is to google search the web for some sample config files for DHCP, and manually prepare/edit those files (I always find this simpler than learning which utility does what and how)
my answer probally wouldnt be a good idea for most people, i just happen'd to be able to because i wasnt that far into setting up the server for something i'd use it for.. I reformatted.. thats why i didnt post it
