FreeBSD and k3b: Won't write correctly

I'm trying to burn a ISO. While it seems as the burning process goes OK, when f.x trying to mount or boot from the CD, it will not work.
My CD-burner is a Samsung CD-R/RW SW-284F, and k3B reports that it can burn CDs and CD/RWs (the text is gray, does that mean that the requirement is not satisfied?).
I'm running 5.4-STABLE with atapicam compiled into the kernel.

You are probably burning as data. You need to burn a disk image.
Try:

Tools --> CD --> Burn CD Image

A dialog will open in which you can choose your image to burn.
