Although there are differences between Linux flavors, it would be worth it to run Win 7, 8, 10 on your machine for a while. Their ISO is available Microsoft's site for free. Just write it to DVD, unless if you already have one.
No need to activate it. Just run it until the license expires.
There is also a rearm command to continue the license a little longer.
I know that Server editions of Windows have a license of 180 days.
