So your saying there is no hope for my data on sda2 . because in testdisk it shows me theres files on it.
Plus i cannot boot into PQservice i hold Alt+F10 and all it does is go to the boot menu I think i need to install Linux so i can atleast have my bootloader back.. But in order to do that i need to know how to resize my sda2 partition..? |

my windows partition..
|
when i look in the partition i see D2D folder..
|
Was it there before?
|
What exactly is this going to do? i dont want it to start me fresh because i want to see if theres still a way i can save the data because all i did was overwrite the windows loader
I deleted the windows partition and used the unallocated space to create a partition for linux. then in testdisk i restored the old setup which destroyed the boot loader i guess. this is my main thing |
D2D is a copy of original os without extra data (your personal files).

In fact it is unpacked check look inside of your docs and see if they are there, if they are you only need to fix boot. Check to see if that partition is labled to boot. |
On your file manager switch from places view to tree view and expand os.
|
I really jus wanna restore my windows partition i think theres a way
|
Right now you need to go to PQService open a tab on PQService and OS right-click and select copy on those 2 folders and figure out how to run the command to repair mbr.
Do you have another usb storage to download another usb boot to? Like I said you haven't lost system |
Change the boot to hda2 without the usb don't touch restore keys.
See if it boots. |
