W2K3 server as VM on SUSE 10.3 -- Only Login to Windows remotely

Hi
I've got a W2K3 server running as a VM. I can login remotely to this Virtual Machune

However I would like to DISABLE remote login to the Linux host.

If I try and do this it stops remote access to the W2K3 machine.

Any solution

Want Remote login possible to the W2K3 machine but to Disallow remote login to the host SUSE machine (especially for ROOT).

In fact I only want the W2K3 Virtual machine even to be aware of the Internet unless it's being used from a LOCAL terminal.

I'm sure this is doable as people use Virtual Servers all the time --I just haven't got experience of doing this myself.

If I allow the Linux machine to be connected to the internet all the time I sometimes see attempts made by outside users to look for IP addressess etc, etc.

W2K3 server (NOTE NOT normal Windows) has a reasonable login security system.

Cheers

-K

Just disable SSH and/or telnet so that nobody can remotely access your Linux box, or, explicitly allow certain hosts, users, and ip addresses to connect to your Linux box via iptables or through ssh/telnet config files.

Problem solved.
