Sorry to interrupt, but can I bring the discussion back to its original topic?
I installed Suse 9.3 yesterday (don't ask why 9.3...it was just the easiest solution for me at the moment). The problem I am facing is that X does not start. When I first intalled Suse, it worked just fine. So I suppose that my monitor drivers are working properly. The problem is that the screen resolution was 800x600 and I wanted to cjhange it, so I tried to do so from the GNOME Conttrol Center. Now X does not start at all. I can login to Suse all right, but no graphical applications seem to work
The message I get is:
(EE) No devices detected.
Fatal server error:
no screens found
I searched at

but it didn't seem to help me much. Any advice? Should I just reinstall Suse? I believe I should mess with the configuration file a bit... but I'm going to need A LOT of help doing that. Any ideas?
