Smile New Install of 13.2. Went perfect!!

Hi,

This is my first post!!

I just had to tell someone that last night I installed OpenSUSE 13.2 on an old Dell. It went without a hitch. I burned an ISO but the DVD player on the install computer is very old. It is one that just barely opens and then you pull it the rest of the out.

But I have sound, internet and with a little tweaking--netflix works perfect...

I am one happy camper.

I have another computer that run windows 8 and Debian Wheezy in a dual boot situation. I love that but I'm just always on the lookout for something else to try. I have had this old computer sitting around for quite some time but I'm glad I dusted it off.

So Suse is going to be my new toy for awhile. Hope you guys don't mind question along the way.

cheers!
Jenn

Welcome to the forums! Glad that you're having a great experience. By all means when you have questions, feel free to post. Sounds like you've been working with Linux for a bit, not just this install.

Welcome aboard, for older computers with low resources, AntiX is a good choice.

Never heard of AntiX. I'll have to check it out.
