Hi there -- has anybody got a script to enable the NFS files to be imported when running as a USER.

I don't want the client machines to automatically run NFS imports at boot time -- this can take forever if the Server is not available and you have quite a lot of directories to import

It's easy as root to use YAST to start the import (NFS Client) but can someone create a script that a normal USER can execute .

Of course the user won't be able to change what's in the FSTAB but at least the client machines will be able to boot up quickly even if the SERVER is not available.

The imported directories are shown as follows (the one's with type nfs in the log extract below)

These directories are entire Disks (4 X 250 GB) Users have Read Write access to the entire disks.
