Can't create root CA

Hi all

I got a xen vm running OpenSuse 11.4 64 bit. when I do "yast2 ca-mgm" "Create Rooit CA" I get instantly an Error: "Getting defaults failed." Details says "SyntaxException:-1:Missing section 'distinguished_name' in the configuration file."

How can I resolve this?
Thanks in advance

Hello,

I'm not familiar with openSUSE at all but I'd check your openssl.cnf file (/etc/ssl/openssl.cnf) to see if it's complete. You seem to be missing the req_distinguished_name section which includes these lines:
Code:
[ req_distinguished_name ]
countryName = Country Name (2 letter code)
countryName_default             = AU
countryName_min                 = 2
countryName_max                 = 2
Do you have openssl installed correctly?

Kind regards,

Eric
