rpi no mouse/keyboard in X


new to arm. mouse and keyboard work until i startx. after startx they quit working.
disconnect and reconnect them and i see the msg in dmesg without errors.
any ideas?

Just a quick thought on your mouse. Before running startx try re-configuring your mouse using the command mouseconfig.

Nothing atop my head for your keyboard.
