I'm on the Slackware Security mailing list and I check the Slackware Security Advisory page daily because the mailing list, for me at least, is unreliable.
After Firefox nagged me about a security update, I went to one of the FTP mirrors to check for an update and the Firefox update was there, but it still hasn't shown up on the official Slackware Security update page. It's been a few weeks now.

As rfernandez points out, 3.6.10 was an update, it just wasn't a security update. There is a difference between the two. (I think everyone who's come to Slackware has made that error in thinking...goodness knows I did until the "Aha!" factor kicked one Saturday afternoon long, long ago.) Sometimes the obvious is only obvious once it's been pointed out. Otherwise you see a version bump of something on one of the mirrors...look only at the security alert page and see nothing posted there and wonder "Huh?" until you peek at the changelog. Then it's, "Oh, okay, all right..."
