Well Thank you for posting.

I did try the editing mim file. I'm not using ko-han2. I use the first one it appear in the menu for korean.
It didn't work for me. in SlackBuilds.org, ibus for korean package is available.
and it works for me for now

Upgrading from scim 1.4.15 to 1.4.17 solved the "spacebar" issue for me.

The issue was reported again after the release of Slackware 14.2. I posted my workaround here
