When using mirrors.slackware.com is there a way to blacklist a specific mirror site. I am tired of getting http://slackware.absolutehosting.net. It's a garbage mirror site that downloads at 20kb-40kb.
I simply picked a mirror in my own country of which I found that it was fast and its mirror is being kept uptodate. The mirrors.slackware.com address is just convenience I guess because it allows a working configuration out of the box, but if you are unlucky your files do indeed get served by a bad mirror.
I believe that Robby Workman is the admin. In any case, the site has this footer:

I wish this was a feature for slackpkg or slackpkg+ because the Princeton mirror is consistently a problem. I've emailed the sysop about it, and sometimes the changes they make work...but it often gets out of sync with the other mirrors.
