New LTS 5.9.8 is up, so far so good.
Compiled, installed, rebuilt a few projects I had on TODO list.
No bumps on this road I guess, except the version bump.

New LTS 5.9.9 is up, apparently it still builds perfectly fine on slackware-14.2, with same optional modules as before.
It'll probably get updated on SBo soon, just reporting that everything which was removable in previous 5.9.x still is, and most projects I have which depend on it; build fine.
Compile time is more or less the same as usual, too.
