Mail command gives permission denied error

Hello,

Trying to send a simple test email using the mail command gives a permissions error:

Code:
$:/var/spool/clientmqueue$ echo "test" | mail example@example.com
$:/var/spool/clientmqueue$ WARNING: RunAsUser for MSP ignored, check group ids (egid=11, want=25)
can not write to queue directory /var/spool/clientmqueue/ (RunAsGid=0, required=11): Permission denied
What is this error and how does one fix it?

SOLUTION: sendmail service was not running.

Thanks,
Mojo
