Having some trouble running the broadcom wireless drivers slackbuild script [first time using slackbuilds]

so I got the slackbuild script and I extracted it and placed the source inside the slackbuild file but whenever I run it, after a few lines of it executing certain commands, it says:
Code:
cp: cannot stat /tmp/broadcom-sta/README_6.30.223.271.txt: no such file or directory
Inside the slackbuild folder there is a README file, but it doesn't mention anything but list the supported chipsets, of which, the BCM4311, my own, is mentioned. Do I need to change the name of the README file to match what it said it couldn't "stat"?

And what does it mean by saying it can't "stat" it?

Anyone know what I forgot/did wrong?

You don't have all the downloads. There is a README_6.30.223.271.txt file that you should download along with the other "source".

If you check broadcom-sta.info, you'll see that for both 32bit and 64bit there are two downloads, not just one. You need to download all the files for your ARCH and then run the SlackBuild.

To fix this, go into the directory where you extracted the SlackBuild tarball to and run the following (then rerun your SlackBuild):

Code:
wget https://docs.broadcom.com/docs-and-downloads/docs/linux_sta/README_6.30.223.271.txt

Ah thanks. I'd assume this would work under normal circumstances but it says there's no document there.
https://www.broadcom.com/docs/linux_...30.223.271.txt

Any idea what I can do instead?

edit: nvm, disregard this message. The page you linked works fine. Thanks for your help!
