Yes, Search Suggestions, but not the Contextual Suggestions?
Ah... I had to do some research. I have done a lot more playing around with this. I previous testing was just with daily use, typing things I normally type. The only thing I noted as different since upgrading to these versions was the "Firefox Suggest" and "DuckDuckGo Suggestions" labels. I decided try a few things I normally don't type. I took screenshots of some of my results.
First is a search for "vir", the results are predicable with "Firefox Suggest" and nothing I would consider an ad.
Second is a search for "bali". I was thinking of Indonesia when I typed this. The results surprised me at first, then I realized that the "Firefox Suggest" hits were from Bookmarked sites. So again not ads even though the results are location based hits.
I am absolutely convinced that does not bothers you things like "privacy" considering that you put your entire postal address as your Location on this forum, for everybody to know. AND your phone number, just in case.
BTW, on English, our country's official name is: Russian Federation
Please modify for correctness!

if you want to talk:
Code:
Section one. Basic Provisions
Chapter 1. Fundamentals of the constitutional system
Article 1.
1. The Russian Federation - Russia is a democratic federal rule of law with a republican form of government.
2. The names Russian Federation and Russia are equivalent.

I know that for us the names Russian Federation and Russia are equivalent, both official and colloquial.
BUT, I seen on many English sites from another countries that they call us Russian Federation, unless they talk about something/someone Russian.
For example:
Quote:
Yesterday the Russian Federation launched a new Progress cargo ship to International Space Station.
Quote:
The Russian Government agreed with the production of Sputnik V vaccine in a pilot laboratory from Serbia.
As another example, I bet that our BDFL will argue with us anytime that he lives on United Stated of America and this way is named his country according with The Constitution, BUT we Russians we call his country Соединенные Штаты Америки (Soyedinennyye Shtaty Ameriki transliterated)
Which name is correct? I think that depends on the target audience.

Look, what @Roman Dyaba said is right. The two terms are equivalent, even according with our Constitution.
Here maybe could be added a nuance, in the sense that I have always thought about Russia as The Country and about Russian Federation as The State. And same looks doing the people who I known.
To understand well my point, Russia was always my country - I'm a Russian, but until 30 years ago, the state was named the Soviet Union. And I hope that nobody argues, saying that the Russian Federation is the successor of it.
However, I talked about how the English speaking people from another countries call us. This was my point.
since it's off-track already, reading essays from the red wheel 2 years ago, you encounter enlightening writings on Russia by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. razmychelnia o fevralskoi revolyutsii
"during the night of march 2nd 1917, Petrograd did perish all of Russia , this for more than 75 years" 1980-1983
available in french here
without necessarily going back to a monarchy, there is history before the ussr & the french revolution that we often fail to appreciate, when it is not denied or distorted by some media and activists.
sometime this past history is not much more terrible than the one of the 20st century.
with the keystroke thingy enabled is firefox 93 going to suggest ? russian federation, Russia or Russian Empire all 3 sounds good to me : )
Perhaps interesting for a Slackware Special Edition? Or otherwise...
Quite a useful link I notice that the author has recently updated that page with a new post on how to change the many about:config parameters (nearly 90 parameters that have to be manually edited) by a easier method of using copy/paste to define the parameters as java script code in the user.js file.
In the previous 3 posts LQ users have posted some interesting stuff. Some of which I knew about, others I did not.
I have not used Firefox in many years. If a browser that does these things that need to be "hardened" or options modified to try to keep your personal life/data out of the hands of "malicious" entities, how can one trust the browser/developers/supporters in the first place?
