DRM Widevine 4.10.1582.2 fails on 32 bit x86 Slackware 15.0

Widevine is not working for Firefox 102.9.0esr and Kodi Matrix 19.5 on a 32 bit x86.

I installed Widevine via http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slac...ugin/pkg/15.0/, copied libwidevinecdm.so to /usr/lib/firefox and installed it via Kodi's inputstream.adaptive.

diff .kodi/cdm/libwidevinecdm.so /usr/lib/firefox/libwidevinecdm.so

They are the same.

Am I the only one facing this?

Remark: On Slackware-arm Widevine is running nicely in Kodi.

Google ended Widevine support for 32-bit Linux on May 31, 2021: https://news.itsfoss.com/netflix-issue-32-bit-linux/
I assume that at some point, providers of DRM-protected content will drop support for old versions of the Widevine CDM library. It looks like that is happening for you now.
I've seen the same happen with the 64bit library - Netflix would stop working and then I would have to upgrade to the latest widevine package from Alien Bob to make playback work again.

Thanks for your helpful response. This explains the latest binary on Alien Bob's site is from March 2021 for 32 bit and December 2022 for 64 bit.

I will switch to 64 bit OS and expect Widevine will run fine.
