vulkan drivers for AMD gpu keeps pulling intel info and driver

On my arch box, not connected to internet at the moment. lspci -k shows that vga compatible controller is indeed AMD

but if i do a vulkan info | less, it fails with an error code:0 /usr/lib/libvulkan_intel.so is not supported

we are using holoiso. i have used pacman to install the drivers via:

sudo pacman -S vulkan-radeon

it says it installed correctly. But vulkan info still shows intel.so

anyway, how do i get the vulkan drivers i installed to be the default?

also, iGPU is disabled in bios

thanks

I have no idea if this is the current case, but some drivers have multiple names, like so:
Code:
# ls -l /usr/lib64/dri/ | grep 688
-rwxr-xr-x 6 root root 16335688 Jan 28 15:23 i830_dri.so
-rwxr-xr-x 6 root root 16335688 Jan 28 15:23 i915_dri.so
-rwxr-xr-x 6 root root 16335688 Jan 28 15:23 i965_dri.so
-rwxr-xr-x 6 root root 16335688 Jan 28 15:23 nouveau_vieux_dri.so
-rwxr-xr-x 6 root root 16335688 Jan 28 15:23 r200_dri.so
-rwxr-xr-x 6 root root 16335688 Jan 28 15:23 radeon_dri.so
This dri file, obviously applicable to AMD and Intel and NVidia GPUs, has a total of 6 hard links - 6 names for one file. If this is the case with vulkan, vulkan info simply may not be programmed to ignore the inapplicable name in its report. Or, it could be reporting on account of the "disabled" iGPU.
