Where are the kernels for slackware current


I can't find the kernels for Slackware64-current

it will be installed by default when you perform full installation

No, They are usually used if you're already running "current" and want to run a specific kernel (roll back etc)


If you're installing -Current or are upgrading to -Current that's all you need to do. The most recent kernel will be installed automatically

I think it is important and useful to realize that one of the top advantage features of running Slackware is one does not have to wait for some repository to get around to adpating software, especially kernels and drivers, to suit some specific init system and package manager. It really isn't hard to build your own from source and that's what it really means to be vanilla. It isn't an empty claim. It's an important benefit.

So you ask "where are the kernels?" ... easily found at kernel.org, Sir.
