Also, you actively participate in the generic brou-ha-ha of "hey man! new version X of software Y" as if Patrick is too lame to keep track himself. If there's a good reason to upgrade a program (new features, critical fixes) then your post becomes much more useful if you actually mention the benefits. Otherwise it's just vocally farting in this thread.
Ok. Now I understand.

Knowledge is power, ignorance is darkness. It's not about Patrick. This is a proverb.
2.1 Ok, now I'll create a new topic and call it "Fresh-roll-list of software for Slackware". Let someone from the moderators stick it.
EMPTYNESS
Today was released (or may be updated into %YOU, ANYBODY% Slackware):
what is this? no real explanation as to what this is all about? fresh rolls come from the bakery, or your ma ma's kitchen stove. Mostly of all, they usually don't last long enough to put them on a list.
who updated them?
who compiled them and put them into an install package?
am I too just install this stuff just cuz?
though it's nice you're trying to take an active "roll" off of the plate. I do not see where you are really taking Alien Bob advice in your quote above. no explanation at all is still on you menu for rolls.
1. This topic is created for unloading/discharging/dumping "Requests for -current (14.2-->15.0)". :-|
2. And this thread for Slackware Community, but not for its maintainer.

Reason: Addons.

We already have a thread about software requests for 14.2---> 15.0.
Or is it new software and old together that “we’d” like to have included in the whenever it gets here Slackware update/upgrades version?
Are them links to newly compiled updated software, and you’re wanting others to do the same. Add newly compiled updates for others to install on current. Why not provide slackbuilds. This thread is confusing to me.
Who cares what is meant? This guy got a forever ban already.
That's what happens when everyone gives you feedback and coaching into how to participate more productively (or, tbh, less uselessly), and you spend two months proudly ignoring that advice. As in, using smilies to declare that you'd ignore it.
