Hello!
I sit on slackware64 current -a bit outdated, about some months, but i affraid to update it again, because in current state i finally got working printing from libreofficce, and my X not crashes frequently.
but, today i try to print two djvu files from okular to my hp laserjet 1320 black and white laserprinter, and i see endless "processing " state on them.
cups show:
HP LaserJet 1320 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.2.13 Processing - "Color Manager: no profiles specified in PPD"
there is any workarounds, or know how to struggle with that?
I would not normally reply to a post this old, but this thread is among the first two or three results in a web search for the error message in the subject line. I'm posting this in case it helps someone else who finds him- or herself searching for that error message. Just to be thorough, my search term was "cups Color Manager: no profiles specified in PPD."
I encountered the same error when trying to print a *.pdf. In the print dialog. In Print-->Options-->PDF Options, I found a checkbox for "Force Rasterization." Once I checked that box, my document printed successfully.
My printer is an HP Officejet 6962. I don't know whether that's relevant or would affect the print dialog in any way, but I include the information in case it is.
