cp+paste in KDE dies after some weeks

Moin,

On my BLFS something annoying happens: After continuously running for some weeks, in KDE cp+paste by mouse doesnt work anymore as expected. cp doesn't seem to work anymore from konsole (the KDE-Terminal) but from other Apps like e.g. firefox, thunderbird, okular. Paste still works also in konsole-windows. After restarting KDE all is ok again for some time.
Seems something dies - but what? Can i reanimate it w/o restarting KDE?

Currently it looks like this (aww, c+p still doesnt work, even not via Edit->Copy)

I've no idea, at what time exactly cp+paste stopped working, maybe some process was running wild at that time? But since there's nothing suspicious in neither dmesg, nor kern.log, nor sys.log i doubt this. If this happens, usually at least the OOM-Killer writes something to the logs.
