Question Linux machines assessment


Good Morning. I was tasked to create a listing with the all of oue linux machines that we have in our and clients infrastructures.I need to perform a complete assessemnt of those machines. Considering that I'm new to this type of work, can you help me in what kind of info that i need to output?

The person that set you the assignment is the only person that can tell you what you need.

They may just want machine names, or IP addresses, or name, ip, number of processors, amount of ram, etc., etc.

We're not going to do your homework for you, so post what you've done so far and where you are having problems.

Speak with the person who asked you to do this as to what exact output they require, and what level of assessment is expected.

Meanwhile you can start with determining what machines there are which are Linux, and determine their purpose.

Based on how your phrased this, the effort can be anywhere from moderately simple, to extremely large.

We cannot do your "work" for you. We do not work with you.
