Smile 2FA server for Debian?

Hi Friends!
I would like to setup a server side two factor authenticator to be used for my websites logins.
I've been seen Mobile side freeotpplus and server side Freeipa, but this last seems not properly developed for Debian, being a native RedHat project.

Could you suggest a good way for activate an OpenSource 2FA infrastructure that completely bypasses google?

Many thanks!

I don't understand

https://packages.debian.org/sid/net/freeipa-server
seems up-to-date

it is only available in sid , what version of Debian are you using?
You could try to compile it for older releases.
