I can't open grub.cfg on Parrot Security OS

So, I made a dual boot with Windows 10 and Parrot today. After I set up Parrot I restart my PC to boot up Windows. My pc opens in grub and I select Windows 10, I have a blackscreen for half a second and I see the grub menu again. I have found a solution for this but when I open grub.cfg I get an acces denied message in Pluma (pluma is my default text editor). I try to open it in Atom and it works, but I can't save it. I changed the owner of the file from root to my user and gave everyone the read, write and execute permission and it still says acces denied. How can I get acces to Grub.cfg, or maybe you know how to fix the issue where I can't boot windows from grub.

WRONG!!!!!
undo that immediately, then use either sudo or su to edit that file:
Code:
sudo nano /boot/grub/grub.cfg
but be aware that all changes are lost after a grub update.
the canonical way is to edit /etc/default/grub instead, then run
Code:
sudo update-grub
afterwards.

please be careful when editing system files.
if you aren't 100% sure you're doing the right thing, you probably shouldn't do it.

or add a window entry by editing /etc/grub.d/40_custom then run update-grub
