Fedora 14 installation-- Black screen appears instead of login screen

I installed Fedora 14 from USB. When i boot my system the fedora boots ok before login screen. But then Black screen appears instead of login screen. Then it gets stuck and doesnt proceed further.
I tried reinstalling by using different softwares to make live USB like using UnetBootin and liveUSB creater.
But no change.....
Please provide any solution ASAP.....

No sense using an old unsupported version - try the current version, Fedora 17.
Then maybe you'll get some help.

Hello!!!

Hoping you´re fine. After installing Fedora 17 Live 64 bits in my laptop HP Pavilion G4-1260la, using a USB pendrive, I got a black screen but I can see the words welcome and fedora. But I tried to cleared as much as I could the screen did no got any better. I will thank all the help and orientation provided.
