Question Execution Command on Emacs after Compilation Is complete

Okay so I am a new user to emacs and the unix platform. I currently compiled my code and it compiled without error. Now, I am curious as to how I execute the code so that it would run. My code consist of JavaScript and the tutorials I tried looking at did the execution command for Java and C++. So I am questioning as to how to do it for javascript on emacs.

Do I use C-x C-e still or do I use something else? Please Help!!

How did you compile the code? Show us the command you used to compile.

Emacs does not have a way to run an executable, but it does have a way to open a command prompt, or it also has a way to invoke an executable using GDB.

Meanwhile, you say this is Javascript. That is not compiled, it is interpreted, and you run it with a Java virtual machine. This is nothing which emacs will provide for you.

If you are writing C or C++ and have compiled it, the result is in the directory where you started from. You can open a shell using ESC-x then typing shell<return> and it will open a shell, or just go to the same command prompt where maybe you started emacs. Or, open a command prompt and go to the directory where your source file is located.

However first it would be helpful what exact file type you are writing?
