If you mean https://linuxmint.com/, I was able to connect to it seamlessly with Firefox 68.2.

Try starting Firefox from the command line and going to that page; some helpful error messages may appear in the terminal. Also, try using another browser for comparison purposes, then tell us what happened, including the text of any error messages you receive, being sure to surround any terminal output with "code" tags which become available when you click the "Go Advanced" button beneath the compose post window..

https://linuxmint.com/ is ok here.

Clear out firefox's cache. Retry.

How about the output of
Code:
ping -c3 linuxmint.com

dig linuxmint.com

dig @8.8.8.8 linuxmint.com
If those are good then, firefox has a hickup.

I have found Firefox to be quite reliable. Given that the problem has happened with other browsers, it is likely that Firefox can be ruled out as the culprit.
