You can get an inexpensive adapter on ebay (~$12) for msata to usb. Or assuming you can boot from USB you could always download the gparted live iso, boot to that, and format it from there.

Hi, you know if this distro have compatibility with Atom z8300 HDMI sound output?
Recently install Lubuntu in my mini box pc and never get sound by HDMI output.
