Moderators have "unlimited power" should you need for them to exercise it on your behalf. You can edit the content of your own post. And, you can "report" your own post, which will send a private message directly to the mods.

Yes; read the LQ Rules about doing this. Editing/deleting threads isn't a good thing...anyone coming across a thread title and finding most of the relevant information removed won't get much help. Why do you need to 'hide' what you posted publicly in the first place?
