How to set up Chewing Fcitx Chinese input method in Mint Cinnamon 21.3?

Just installed Cinnamon 21.3 and set Chewing Ibus for inputting Chinese. But it did not work. I want to set up Chewing Fcitx input method for Chinese.
Help, please.

My first post concerning Chewing was my mistake. I could not tell Ibus from Fcitx. Then I realized that I had tested using Chewing Fcitx, then I posted the second one, asking help hot to shift to Chinese from English.
