Have you got Bluetooth? Most phones have it, if you don't have it on your system, a bluetooth dongle is cheap.
The other way is a USB transfer. You have to look into the phones documentation to see if there is anything you need to change in settings to allow the phone to look like an external hard drive.
Sometimes I'm a bit slow; forgive me. I enabled wifi on the phone and simply bypassed the telco network to send the pix to my laptop (also wifi enabled).
