How long for first thread to be visible?

Hello

I posted a new thread in Linux - Software 3 days ago and after 24 hours it was still not visible so I posted another one and none of them are visible still. Am I doing something wrong?

Kind regards

Welcome here, at LQ,

and it is visible now. I think you need to click on report, ask to move this question to LQ Suggestions & Feedback. Otherwise only moderators can help you, regular users not.

This process is a fundamental defense against "bots" which would auto-register accounts and flood the system with "post #1's." If you feel that your post is legit but not getting attention, use "report" to speak to the moderator team directly. Please be patient: "moderation" is an unpleasant but necessary job. Legitimate first-posts are always welcome here – as are newcomers! "Hi!"

I understand the protection against bots, it makes sense. But my first two threads are still not visible. Are they lost and I have to post them again or are they just still up for review by the mods?
