jmccue Member Registered: Nov 2008 Location: US Distribution: slackware Posts: 691 Blog Entries: 1 Rep:	You only need this shim if you are dual booting with windows. This only proves you are better off not using secure boot at all. See fsf.org on why you should avoid it.
