Long-time Slackware user; I first installed Linux from floppies many years ago.
Just making a post to increase my privilege level, I've used LinuxQuestions as a valued resource for years and years.

Currently Slackware64-current on the laptop and Slackware-14.2 on the desk.

thats what i'm running took me a while to get all packages i wanted without conflict . i'm using slpkg (not slackpkg) to get packages, install deps etc

Oh, now that you mention it, I did find myself in the weeds with the 32-bit version of slackware-current.
The 64-bit version installed without a hitch.
