Ok: here goes:
I download gcc 1.42 (it's the smallest, the more recent version didn't download propperly) and try to run ./configure and it says:
Code:
$ ./configure
-bash: ./configure: Permission denied
the reason: I need a 'cc' or 'gcc' to install make. why do I need make? so I can compile and run the marine biology case study (java and javac work) for the computer science AP exam (may 20th)
if you can help me either get gcc, make, or the casestudy working I'd be very grateful.
I'm running OSX panther 10.3.4
thanks in advance
