Hi,
I want to try manjero last version ( 18 ), I usually use distro based on debian, ubuntu, mint ....
the installation poses a problem with the rootfs file. the same problem with the verion xfce, gnome with usb or dvd.
what is strange nobody has talked about this problem the forum of the official site.
thank you
what kind of strange problem? the only issue I've ever ran into is using manjaro with dual boot, they Arch and its knock offs use some kind of strange setup for its kernel, so my other OS's screw up my mbr and grub and it gets all kinds of destroyed , and the only way I've fond to fix it is to install windows again to fix my mbr boot sector. so Now I install manjaro and have all of the other distros I care to install fail on installing gurb then select to finish installation, then have manjaro boot then update its grub to pick up all of the other OS'es I have installed.
other than that I have had no issues installing Manjaro, xfce or kde.

If you want somebody to help you, or if you want to find other people who encounter the same problem, you need to describe it. “A problem with the rootfs file” is not enough.
Concur - need more info - never had an issue dual-booting Manjaro with Windows 10: it just worked out the box. No such thing as a "rootfs" file, do you mean the root file system?
Hi,
thanks for reply,
I said "there is a problem at installation step", I tried with DVD, with usb on differents machines I always got same error in file rootfs.sfs, here is the alert box:

Installation Failed
Bad Source
source="rn/miso/bootmnt/manjaro/x86_64/rootfs.sfs
Before starting installation, I checked the md5sum of the file it was OK.
